Alicia has known Alexis (Lex) for approximately 12 years. They met at Waterford Kettering High School for the soccer team tryouts during sophomore year. They have been inseparable ever since and Alicia couldn’t imagine this day without Alexis by her side. Side note: Alexis hated Alicia at first and for good reason but it’s amazing to see their friendship continuing to grow in every season!
Courtney Kaltz

Alicia met Courtney at Motor City Church in 2025. Courtney and Alicia both serve in the Kids Ministry at church. Courtney has a funny story about losing her prayer journal at church which led to Pierce and Alicia’s interest in each other after Pierce found it later that day. Courtney was Alicia’s first faith filled friend and has been a huge part of Alicia growing in her faith and growing closer to God.

Alicia has been working with Diamond for approximately 4 years and she is a 911 dispatcher for our police department! Diamond and Alicia first came to MCC in March of 2025 and haven’t left since. They both have traveled the world together on numerous cruises such as visiting Aruba, Bahamas, Bonaire, Bermuda, Curaçao, Cabo, and Ensenada!!

Kristina said she was inspired to get baptized at Motor City Church after seeing Alicia get baptized in November 2025 and that’s how they became friends! Kristina is a social butterfly like Alicia and their smiles light up in any room they enter! They both love to travel the world, visit new places and spread the Gospel wherever they go!

Mary and Alicia also met at Motor City Church, go figure right?! The way they mutually encourage each other’s spiritual growth and prioritize their friendship is so beautiful. Most of the time Mary is sitting right next to Pierce and Alicia at Church after she serves in the kids ministry. They both enjoy trying new restaurants around Detroit!

Morgan is Pierces sister and she got married to Ryan last year in September of 2025. Morgan was a children’s pastor for quite some time and loves Disney! Morgan is so beautiful in the way she speaks and prays and she has been nothing but welcoming and kind to Pierce and Alicia’s new covenant together!

Pierce has known Caleb for approximately 14 years and they met at Brightmoor Church. Pierce and Caleb both play bass and serve on the worship teams at their separate churches! Caleb’s brother, Matthew will be officiating our wedding!!

Pierce has known Stephen for approximately 15 years and they both attended Brightmoor Church. Both have stayed in contact despite living in different countries at one point.

Pierce has known Marc for approximately 4 years at Motor City Church. They both have a shared obsession over fish and fly fishing. They go up north camping and enjoy the hobby!

Pierce has known Noah for approximately 4 years and met at Motor City Church. Both play on the worship team (guitar and bass) and both have their own businesses. Also, great mustache.
Ryan Taylor

Ryan (brother in law) is married to Pierces sister, Morgan since September of 2025. We really enjoy having game nights with them! There is truly never a time that Ryan does not make someone laugh, he’s great company to be around!
Matthew Garon
Officiant
Matthew is one of the pastors at Motor City Church in Detroit and the brother of Caleb (Pierces Best Man). Matthew has known Pierce for over a decade and has many roles within the church. Pastor Matt baptized Alicia last year in November and is a huge role model to both Pierce and Alicia! Pastor Matt has seen both Pierce and Alicia separately and together and that makes their story that much more beautiful.
