Pierce and Alicia’s story began in the most beautiful way—at Motor City Church in 2025. In a place where faith, purpose, and God’s timing brought their hearts together. What started as a friendship quickly became something much deeper, as the Lord gently wove their lives together in a way only He could. Pierce has walked with Christ for his whole life and was baptized at 13, beginning a lifelong journey of faith. Alicia, newer in her relationship with the Lord, was joyfully baptized by Pastor Matthew in November 2025 at Motor City Church. Together, their love story is beautifully rooted in God’s grace, guided by faith, and centered on Christ. Pierce faithfully serves on the worship team playing bass, using his gifts to glorify God through music. Alicia also serves faithfully in the kids ministry, pouring love, patience, and joy into the lives of children and reflecting the heart of Christ through her kindness. As they got to know each other, Alicia discovered that Pierce had grown up in Waterford—the very same place where she went to high school and lived during her college years. It felt like one more sweet reminder that God had been writing their story long before they ever realized it. Their connection blossomed quickly, and within the same month, they went from friends to romantically talking and then dating. Their relationship is a beautiful testimony of God’s hand at work.
