FAQs

We hope this is helpful for you! If you have any questions besides those listed below, please feel free to reach out to either Hanna or Anthony.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We would appreciate all responses to our virtual invites (sent via Paperless Post) be entered by 5/12/2023, so that we may adjust our arrangements as needed.

Question

What if I cannot make it to the wedding?

Answer

We understand that traveling and other considerations may affect some of our loved ones' ability to attend our wedding! If you cannot attend the wedding, please fill out your RSVP on the website so indicating. If you have previously indicated that you were attending but can no longer make it, please let us know right away so that we can adjust accordingly, thank you!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have chosen to host a small and intimate wedding celebration and unfortunately will not be able to accommodate additional guests beyond those included on the wedding invitation.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only occasion so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time, so that you can celebrate with us.

Question

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Our venue has an on-site parking lot that will be free to our wedding guests. We will also be offering a free shuttle service from the Holiday-Inn in Pittsfield for transportation to and from the wedding.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Because our wedding will be held outdoors in mid-June, we have decided on a garden-attire dress code. Wear sundresses or gowns with summer colors or patterns and suits with lighter hues. Ties aren't necessary, but feel free to wear one!

Question

What is an unplugged ceremony?

Answer

An "unplugged" ceremony is a ceremony in which the bride and groom request that guests put away cell phones, cameras, and any other devices during the ceremony in order for everyone to be present in the moment. Don't worry, we have a lovely photographer, Rachel Leiner, who will be there to capture the moment for us! We will post her pictures as soon as we receive them.

Question

What are the meal options?

Answer

During cocktail hour, we will be serving passed hors-d'œuvres. Dinner will begin with a plated caesar salad, accompanied by one of three entrée options (all served with a side of roasted asparagus and fingerling potatoes). The options will include: roasted beef sirloin with red wine shallot jus, apricot & herb stuffed chicken breast with marsala wine sauce, and quinoa stuffed portobello mushroom with tomato coulis.

Question

Will there be desserts and drinks?

Answer

Of course! We will be having two cake flavor options: vanilla with raspberry buttercream and chocolate with chocolate-orange buttercream. We will also be hosting an open bar.

Question

I have a food allergy, what should I do?

Answer

Please let us know if you have any significant allergies or dietary restrictions, so that we may inform our catering company.
