See the "Travel" page. The best and most accessible airport is Frankfurt am Main (FRA).
Yes. And it should be valid 6 months past the date of your travel. (I'm slightly embarrassed you asked this question, but we still love you.)
Maybe. Check your country's State Department website! Hint: do this well BEFORE your departure!
See "Travel" page. We have reserved plenty of hotel rooms from Thursday, July 4th through Sunday, July 7th (i.e. Thursday, Friday and Saturday night). Check out the hotels, choose where you'd like to stay, and call or email that hotel to book your room. WE WILL NOT BOOK YOUR ROOM FOR YOU! Note that the hotels are distributed across two towns, but they are within close range and we will have buses pick you up and take you to the events from a central gathering place in both towns. (Don't stress: the towns are tiny and you can walk...even in high heels.) Hotels located within the same town are walking distance from each other. If you'd like to extend your hotel stay longer or shorter than Thursday - Sunday, please let the hotel know and make sure they confirm your selected date range!
That's up to you! We will have transportation to take you to and from most of the events, but we will not have transportation from the airport or train station to your hotel. That being said, you may want to car pool or just get a one-way ride via taxi or car service to where you are staying. The Frankfurt airport also has great train connections to Mannheim (see "Travel"), so you could fly in to Frankfurt, take a train to Mannheim and then taxi from there. If you need help, just let us know! Note that there is no Uber in Germany.
No!
That depends on the events you're attending, and how well you handle jet lag! Typically, flights from the US to Germany are over night. We would advise you to get to Germany one day before the first event you're attending so you have a little bit of recovery time. If you're hardcore, though, feel free to fly in sometime in the morning and party all night!
We want you to wear (almost) whatever you want! Attire can range from cocktail to black tie. No jeans, no shorts. William will be wearing a tux, I'll be wearing white, and we'll be celebrating in a castle...hopefully that helps you decide! (If you need further guidance, Google "Prince Harry & Meghan Wedding" and ignore the hats, or see the "Photos" page on this website.)
No. Lucky for you we Germans are absolute geniuses and almost all of us speak English. Don't let this stop you from trying out your German skills, though, as they will bring much joy to us all!
Absolutely.
