Travel Note

From the Reception to the Speakeasy

Jump in a cab, or hoof it! The After Party is a pleasant 15-20 minute walk from Freemans Restaurant. Take a left out of Freemans Alley, another hard left and when you hit Houston Street turn right. Turn left (North) on First Ave and keep beetling along until you get to St Marks Place (or 8th street). Turn left again and there you are!

Flight

John F. Kennedy International Airport.

We prefer to fly in and out of New York via JFK, but both Laguardia and Newark Airports are also a good option.

Train

Subways

The subway is a must for getting around NYC, and you'll save yourself some serious cash and avoid wasting time stuck in traffic. Plus it's an excellent opportunity for people watching and you might even get danced on! For our reception the closest subway lines are the F train at 2nd Avenue (Orange Line), the RW (yellow line) at Prince Street or the J train (Brown Line) to Bowery.

Airbnb

Airbnb is a great option especially if you're planning an extended stay. We recommend the East Village, Lower East Side, Williamsburg and Astoria as good neighborhoods to check out for accommodation.
