Great way to spend some free time, we absolutely loved it (make sure to book your tickets online, as it can easily book out). We walked up and back, great way to burn off a few wedding calories. Its also very easy to get there by mini train (leaves from the information centre, close to Balcón de Europa), taxi or bus.
One of our favourite places to visit, very local to Nerja town. Its up in the hills, so you will need to get a local bus or Taxi. The Taxi should cost less than €15 each way. We recommend, Pura Cepa tapas bar a serious selection of wine, tapas and amazing views.
Our favourite pastime while in Nerja, is getting lost in all the amazing Tapas bars. You really can't go wrong with any of the tapas bars around old town. It can get quite busy in this area, try snapping a table up outside. The tables do turn around pretty fast, so don't worry. Restaurante El Pórtico is our favourite spot, glass of wine and Tapas for €3.50. Stuffed peppers are amazing. But watch out, as the glasses of wine are huge..........
We still haven't tried this but looks great way to get a bit of exercise and see the amazing cliffs of Nerja.
