Hotel
We’ve reserved a room block for our guests at Tarrytown House Estate, which is where our wedding celebration will take place. The estate is situated on a hilltop overlooking the Hudson River. Staying on-site means you'll have easy access to the wedding without needing to coordinate extra transport. Plus, it's ideally located: just 5 minutes from Washington Irving’s Sunnyside and 10 minutes from the heart of Sleepy Hollow. October is the busiest month for visitors in Sleepy Hollow, so make sure to book your room early with our discount code.
Hotel
If you'd prefer to stay at a hotel other than the venue, we recommend the nearby SpringHill Suites Tarrytown Westchester County, Hampton Inn White Plains / Tarrytown, or Sheraton Tarrytown Hotel.
Flight
If you're planning to rent a car, flying into Newark Airport offers the easiest drive to Sleepy Hollow (around 55 minutes, but simpler to navigate). Plus, you'll pass through some beautiful, scenic parts of New Jersey and see the fall foliage!
Flight
NYC has tons of airports, but Laguardia is one of the easiest for domestic and international flights. Laguardia is the closest distance to Sleepy Hollow if you plan to Uber directly from the airport (it's a 40-minute drive.) It's also a good option if you plan to spend a few extra days sight-seeing in the city.
Train
Do you live locally in NYC or NJ? Us too! You can take the train to Sleepy Hollow. Board the Metro-North Railroad Hudson Line train at Grand Central Station (#8733 towards Croton-Harmon). Ride 9 stops (about 45 minutes) to Irvington Station. It's about a 7-minute car ride from Irvington Station to Tarrytown House Estate (not walkable).
