FAQs

The Wedding Website of Peyton Skoczylas and Troy Handoko
Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that all guests arrive by 5:00 PM ET. We'll be starting promptly at 5:30 PM ET!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We request that all guests wear cocktail attire. Think suits and ties, cocktail dresses, and dressy jumpsuits. Generally, we just ask that you avoid casual wear like jeans, polo shirts, and sundresses. For shoes, please wear whatever lets you dance comfortably and enjoy the evening. A quick note on colors: Our bridal party will be wearing warm fall tones. If you’re aiming to avoid matching them, feel free to choose a different palette, but it's not required. We trust you to look great! And of course, we kindly ask that no one wear white or ivory. We appreciate you helping us keep that special for the bride.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’re so happy you’ll be joining us! To help us keep the celebration intimate and comfortable, all invited guests have been specifically named on their invitations. If your invitation includes your name only, we kindly ask that you attend solo.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Due to venue capacity and the nature of the celebration, our wedding is adults-only. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a hotel room block at our venue, Tarrytown House Estate. If you plan to stay overnight in Sleepy Hollow, we encourage you to stay on the property to make traveling easier. However, if you prefer, there are other additional hotels nearby. SpringHill Suites Tarrytown Westchester County and Sheraton Tarrytown Hotel are also great choices. Make sure to book your room early! Sleepy Hollow is a popular tourist destination in the fall.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

• Sunday, June 14th, 2026: Bridal shower (in Illinois) • Monday, October 12th, 2026: Post-wedding brunch (in Sleepy Hollow) If you have questions about these, please contact Carol Skoczylas, the Mother of the Bride, at daca6917@gmail.com.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

You'll receive your official invitation in spring of 2026, at which point you can RSVP formally. If you’re certain you can attend, you’re welcome to start making travel arrangements. No worries if you need to wait for your invitation to confirm details!

Question

I have another question!

Answer

If your question wasn't answered here, please text Peyton or email her at peyton.skoczylas@gmail.com. Just give her a little bit of time to reply during busy weeks!
