A wine bar and restaurant right by the harbor. This spot is a 3-minute walk from our wedding venue, so if you arrive early it's a great place to check out!
Bodega Head
Beautiful coastal viewpoint with hiking trails. This is a great spot for sunset!
Sonoma Coast State Park
Large state park with tons of spots to check out along the coast. We like Duncan's Landing, Goat Rock Beach, and Jenner Lookout Point.
Fishetarian Fish Market
A VERY popular seafood spot along the bay, known for their fresh fish!
Patrick's of Bodega Bay
Famous saltwater taffy shop with tons of flavors! Across the parking lot is also a cute gift shop (Harbor View Gifts & Goodies) if you want some Bodega Bay merch.
Spud Point Crab Company
A well-known seafood joint famous for its clam chowder and crab.
The Tides Wharf & Restaurant
Waterfront dining across the street from The Inn at the Tides.
Fisherman's Cove
Little seafood shack with oysters, sandwiches, and chowder.
Sonoma Coast Vineyards
A tasting room right in Bodega Bay featuring Sonoma County wines.
The Birds Café
Café and restaurant with bay view patio seating and a cute gift shop next door.
Potter Schoolhouse & Saint Teresa of Avila Church
If you're a fan of the Alfred Hitchcock movie "The Birds," filmed in Bodega Bay, you might want to make a quick stop on your way into town to check out the schoolhouse and church where they filmed some of the famous scenes.
Bodega Bay Kayak
Kayak rentals and guided tours are available at Bodega Bay Surf Shack.
Bodega Dunes Beach
Large recreational beach (there is usually a $10 fee to park).
Doran Beach
Another large beach closer to the South side of town.
The Links at Bodega Harbour
A beautiful golf course in town near Doran Beach (where many of the rental homes are).
Estero Americano Coast Preserve
This nature preserve with hiking trails just opened to the public for the first time in 100 years!
Café Aquatica
Café right on the water with outdoor seating, a little North of Bodega Bay in Jenner. They often have live music on Saturday and Sunday.
Jilly’s Real Food Roadhouse
Also in Jenner, a casual dining spot with great views of the Russian River.
Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve
For our East Coast people that have never seen redwoods and want to check them out, this is a nice state park that is not as busy as Muir Woods (although that is an awesome place too, just may take some extra planning).
Point Reyes National Seashore
Stunning place! Not exactly *in* Bodega Bay, but if you're making a trip out of the wedding, we highly recommend stopping here. Some highlights are: Cypress Tree Tunnel, South Beach Overlook, Point Reyes Lighthouse, Tomales Point, and Chimney Rock Trail.
