Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding will be cocktail attire! This can mean nice dresses of various lengths (knee-length, midi, long, etc.), pantsuits, jumpsuits, slacks with an elegant blouse, suits (with or without a tie), or slacks with a sports coat/blazer. Please be sure to bring a warm coat for the evening, as it can get cold at night in this coastal area and our venue is fully outdoors. Avoid stiletto heels as the walkways are gravel.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at 3:00pm to allow time for parking and a short walk down the street to the venue entrance. The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30pm.

Where is the venue (and where can I park)?

Answer

Our venue is The Secret Gardens in Bodega Bay, California. Bodega Bay is a small coastal town just over an hour North of San Francisco, along the border of Marin County and Sonoma County. The venue address is Eastshore Rd & Bay Flat Rd, Bodega Bay, CA 94923. There is a parking lot for guests around the corner at 1555 Eastshore Rd. There is also some street parking. Google Maps is more accurate than Apple Maps for both the venue and parking lot locations, but there will be traffic directors on-site to point you in the right direction.

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than August 1, 2026. This will enable us to send final headcount to our venue and vendors in time to make the appropriate preparations. RSVPs not submitted by this date will be marked as a ‘no’, as we are not able to change our final headcount once it has been submitted to all vendors. If you already know whether or not you can make it, early RSVPs are helpful and appreciated!

Where should I stay?

Answer

If you choose to stay in the area overnight, there are several options. The three largest hotels in town are: The Lodge at Bodega Bay, The Inn at the Tides, and Hotel Dega. There are also a couple of small inns in town that will book up quickly, and numerous rental homes available via AirBnb and VRBO. If you're willing to drive out of town a short ways, many more options are available throughout Sonoma County in areas like Jenner, Sebastopol, Rohnert Park, Petaluma, and Santa Rosa. Sonoma Coast Villa and the Fairfield by Marriott Sebastopol are a couple of options not listed on our Travel page that might be worth considering.

How can I get to/from the venue?

Answer

We are planning to have a shuttle service, but the pickup locations and schedule are dependent on how many of our guests stay at each hotel. If you’ll be staying at one of the Bodega Bay hotels, please note as such in your RSVP and stay tuned. If you plan to drive to the venue, there is a parking lot reserved for guests at 1555 Eastshore Rd around the corner from the venue entrance. *Rideshare is not consistently available in this area, so please do not rely on it as your means of transportation*

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we only have space to accommodate the individuals named on your invite. Our venue is small and we are fully maxing out its capacity. We hope you understand.

Are kids invited?

Answer

Due to venue capacity and limitations, we only have space for those named on your invitations. This is a no-kids event. Thank you for understanding and apologies for any inconvenience.

Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

To those traveling in from outside of Northern California: San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and Oakland International Airport (OAK) are the closest major airports to our venue, both about a 1.5 hour drive away (not accounting for traffic). San Jose Mineta International Airport (SJC) is another option with a slightly longer drive. Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport is the closest option, only 45 minutes away from our venue, but is a small airport with limited flights.
