Maid of Honor
College roommates and sorority sisters. Head coach for Orange Theory, lover of sloths and queso, and master diver. Lauryn and Erika survived many college classes together including Organic Chemistry, so their friendship is stronger than a covalent bond. When she isn't being a real-life mermaid, she can be found running marathons, saving animals, traveling the world, and competitive dog grooming. Daniel and Erika fought over who could have Lauryn in their wedding party, per usual, Erika won.
Jamie
Best Man
Jamie is Daniel's IDENTICAL TWIN....ok just kidding, but really they are twins. On paper they couldn't be more opposite, Jamie did theater, Daniel played sports, Jamie studied film, Daniel studied forestry, Jamie drinks Sea Breezes, Daniel likes Coors Light....ok you get it. But to say these two aren't close couldn't be further from the truth, they're brothers, and Daniel wouldn't be marrying Erika without him.
Rose
Matron of Honor
College roommates and sorority sisters. Rose is a master chef, dual citizen, dog mom of the year, and a home improvement expert. When she isn't busy doing projects that would make Martha Stewart jealous, she can be found volunteering, traveling back to old country, or reminiscing about her days on the European Women's Basketball League. She is just as beautiful inside as she is outside, and Erika probably would not have passed Physics II (or at least wouldn't have had a breakfast buddy) without her.
Max
Best Man
Max....Daniels first little brother, that isn't so little. Max is a olympic weightlifter, connoisseur of snacks, Jeep enthusiast, Burt Macklin FBI, dog dad, and is dating Erika's bridesmaid Leah. He is often quoted saying, "thanks Daniel, you taught me everything I know about everything". But really, he's not only Daniel's brother, but one of his best friends, and will be required to kneel during the ceremony so that Daniel looks taller.
Hannah
Bridesmaid
College roommates and sorority sisters. Hannah is a marketing guru, wine expert, and squirrell enthusiast. When she isn't exploring the great outdoors or cooking meals worthy of the Food Network, Hannah enjoys building ant farms. Hannah and Erika didn't meet until college, but quickly discovered that their moms had been friends and colleagues before they were born. Hannah is one of Erika's funnest friends and they enjoy scream-singing Taylor Swift, leaving the boys at home and acting as each other's lady dates, and having mother-daughter dinners when Hannah is in Arizona.
Matthew
Groomsman
Dont let the dirty mustache fool you, Matthew is a groosman and not a wedding crasher. He's not even old enough to see that movie...I think. Daniel's second youngest brother knows all the Fortnite dances, is a semi-professional cornhole ATHLETE, and did the 400 meter hurdle TWICE without tripping. Daniel is lucky to have so many brothers, so look for him out on the dance floor, and let us know if he's at the bar.
Leah
Bridesmaid
Most likely Erika's future sister-in-law Nurse, dog-mom to Beans, and voted most likely to be the next person to join the Peters pack. She is an ASU alum, delivers babies on the regular, and is a cross-fit queen. She has been dating her high school sweetheart Max (Daniel's best man) for five years and has enjoyed many adventures with the Peters family. When she isn't busy saving lives or parenting Beans, she likes to carve soap figurines which have been very successful since the onset of COVID-19.
Ethan
Groomsman
Ethan is the youngest of Daniel's brothers, but he holds his own just fine. Ethan loves to cook and bake, to make fun of whatever Daniel wears, and to rewatch any and all Tyler Perry movies. Ethan is also a Gremlin, do NOT get him wet, do NOT expose him to bright light, and do NOT feed him after midnight. This is imperative for the wedding to run smoothly. Also if he hands you an ID, its fake.
Brianna
Bridesmaid
Erika's future sister-in-law. Brianna and Erika met before Daniel came into the picture. Brianna was Erika's lab partner in high school anatomy. She is a dental hygienist, U of A fan, and super-mom to her cats Wilma and Wilbur. When she isn't working to improve the oral health of the East Coast, she enjoys traveling, crafting, and LARPing. Sorry (not really) for falling for your brother.
Brandon
Groomsman
Brother, ASU grad, mechanic, musician, cook, and future millionaire, Brandon is cool. Be like Brandon. Brandon is technically Daniel's step-brother, but it has never felt like that. Even though he's younger, he introduced Daniel to a lot of video games he wasn't allowed to play and movies he wasn't allowed to see, effectively making him cool (kinda). He'll be up there probably helping other groomsmen fix their ties, because he's cool like that.
Megan
Bridesmaid
College roommates and Erika's Big SIster in Pi Phi. Megan is a tennis champion, marketing whiz, and animal-lover. She is an expert in National Parks, could probably write her own cookbook, and is a travel enthusiast. She is a great road trip buddy and never turns down an adventure. When she isn't frolicking through Africa or saving baby animals, she enjoys curating Vietnamese fly traps.
Trevin
Groomsman
Trevin and Daniel have known each other since the 1st grade. They played Little League together, went to high school together, drank their first bee, I mean soda together, and both will be in each others weddings. Daniel and Trevin have been to many Country Thunders together, (which if you didn't know is a harrowing experience that you can only survive by having your best friends with you, kind of like a wedding.) Trevin is like a brother to Daniel, as if he didn't have enough already.
Sophie
Bridesmaid
Travel buddy/sorority sister. Attorney at law, sea turtle lover, and dog mom to Gilmore and Moose. Sophie and Erika survived a summer volunteering in Costa Rica together. Nothing strengthens a friendship quite like collapsing bunk beds, tarantulas in your bedroom, and eating nothing but rice and heart of palm for weeks. Sophie is a legal expert, has the biggest heart in the entire world, and in her spare time she builds tiny furniture for mice.
Austin
Groomsman
Daniel met Austin at NAU during a fraternity....party (why lie I'm an adult). Throughout college, they became best friends by living together at a place everyone called the duplex, if you know what this is and have been there I'm sorry (especially to Erika). Austin is a hot dog connoisseur, expert at falling off of roofs, and is known to have his own highlight reel of wedding dance moves. Again, another brother Daniel has to have up there with him on his wedding day.
Viviane
Bridesmaid
Erika's little sister in Pi Phi Yelp-expert, fashionista, and travel queen. Viv's taste is on par with that of a lifestyle influencer. She puts Pinterest and Instagram to shame with her food spreads, diy projects, and photos of her world travels. When she isn't making the world a happier and more beautiful place, she shares her expertise in Jurassic-age fossils with underprivileged youths.
Mitchell
Groomsman
Twin of Austin, Daniel also met Mitchell during his time at NAU. They became like brothers, doing nothing but studying, going to all of their classes, volunteering, and singing in the church choir. They definitley only did things their mothers would approve of. Mitchell also enjoys long walks on the beach, dinosaurs, and wearing Hawaiian shirts only buttoned half way up. Look for him arguing with Austin about who the better twin is.
Alexis
Bridesmaid
Sorority sister Alexis is a finance expert, pawrent to Massimo and Abigail, and queen of themed parties. She once survived getting stranded in the forest during a blizzard with Erika for hours, so she can handle any bridesmaid duties thrown at her. When she isn't slaying at her day job, she enjoys gardening, participating in her fiance's (famous?) cooking show, and enjoying the beautiful LA weather. In her spare time, she vaccinates sea cucumbers for communicable diseases.
Nick
Groomsman
Daniel met Nick at NAU. They were roommates during and after college with Austin and Erika (Sorry again Erika, from all of us). Nick is best known for retiring at the age of 24, then coming out of retirement and killing it, breaking his wrist at country thunder, and convincing Daniel to go to Vegas when he probably shouldn't have. If Daniel had never met Nick, he would probably be healthier, richer, and smarter; but dang it he wouldn't have had as much fun.
Kathy
Bridesmaid
Sister-in-law Kathy is a public service superhero, hedgehog fanatic, and she is trilingual. She has been married to Erika's brother for five years but has been part of the Hoffman family for much longer than that. When she isn't busy improving the lives of the children in Arizona's public school system or traveling the world, she helps rehabilitate reindeer. We dare you to try to keep up with she and Justin and the dance floor.
Justin
Groomsman
Erika's Brother Justin may be a Pediatric Neurologist, but his true expertise is the dance floor. His years of competitive soccer and ability to play musical instruments have prepared him for both the footwork and rhythm required to be the best dancer at the party. Proceed with caution if you choose to join him, Erika ended up on the ground while sharing a dance with him at his wedding. When Justin isn't saving lives, he enjoys volunteering, running marathons, exploring the great outdoors, and knitting Christmas sweaters for reptiles to keep them warm through the cold winter months.
Dierks
Dog of Honor
Daniel and Erika's first born dog Dierks would love to be at the wedding, but he knows that he blew his chance at the engagement party. Dierks got a little bit too excited and spent the night digging a hole, having the zoomies, and even "hugging" guests. Even though he spends 99.9% of his time being a very good boy. He will don his bowtie, and celebrate by eating snacks and snuggling with his favorite toy at home. He may have snuck a few items onto the registry.
Smokey
Dog of Honor
Daniel and Erika's second-born dog Smokey would also love to attend the wedding but he can't seem to wrap his head around the fact that 100+ pounds is a little bit too heavy for a lap dog. He would jump to be the first one to kiss the bride, and he can't be trusted not to swim in the waterfall. He will be spending the night in the pup penthouse with his brother Dierks, whom we hope will not allow him to celebrate by eating the blinds again. He will enjoy chewing on his favorite bone and destroying a few stuffed animals during the ceremony.
