Dan and I were randomly assigned college roommates freshmen year at UW Madison, and have been great friends ever since.  We share a passion for bicycling, watching football, movies, and the Wu Tang Clan.

Elaine and I met in 2006 when we both worked at Sixth College at UCSD. Over time, through the years of friendship, through personal struggles, and through ecstatically happy times, Elaine became my family. She taught me the art of tamale making; I taught her about "Asian tamales." Without her friendship, I would not be who I am today.
