Where is the wedding?

Answer

Located at the Ida and Cecil Green Faculty Club. 9500 Gilman Drive MC 0121, La Jolla, CA 92093. Located on the UCSD campus. Parking is free on the weekends.

Where can I park?

Answer

Parking can be complicated and is not super close to the Faculty Club. Please arrive with plenty of time to park and walk to the venue. Parking is available at Parking lot 303 in Thurgood Marshall College (https://maps.ucsd.edu/map/?id=1005#!m/283009), Parking Lot 416 on Mandeville Lane (https://maps.ucsd.edu/map/?id=1005#!m/251495), and in the Pangea parking structure (https://maps.ucsd.edu/map/?id=1005#!m/237151). Parking is free in any A, B, S, V or metered spots on the weekend; do not park in any reserved spots.

Hotels?

Answer

There are a variety of options in the area with wildly varying price points. There are many ride share programs in the area to get you to and from places, but we suggest staying at a hotel where most of your time will be spent. Is there a dress code?

We hope our wedding will be a fun excuse to wear your favorite cocktail attire!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

San Diego is famous for its sun and beautiful weather. However, nights can be chilly. Weather in March is anywhere from mid 40s to mid 70s on average. Bring that bathing suit, but also a light jacket.

Will there be Vegan and Vegetarian options

Answer

Yes! Please let us know on the RSVP if you have any special food needs. Vegetarian/vegan options include: Meatless Antipasto Salad, Tomatoes with Basil and Balsamic Reduction, Penne Pasta (with marinara sauce), Rosemary Roasted Potatoes, Fresh Summer Squash, and Garlic Bread.

Can I take pictures and/or post photos of your wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, please feel free to take photos. We totes <3 soc meds. But we ask that you do take time to live in the moment and enjoy the occasion and those around you away from device distraction :) We hired a professional photographer to capture everyone's best angles.

Will there be dancing?

Answer

Yes! We hope you join us on the dance floor and party with our DJ.

Will drinks be served?

Answer

Yes, after the ceremony there is a 4 hr open bar. Please have fun and join us on the dance floor, but get home safely.
