We met off of a dating app, Bumble. Peter had some headshots taken and one made him look silly and goofy, causing Emily to “swipe right”. As we got to know each other, we discovered that Jerri, Peter’s cousin, was a part of a friend group Emily hung out with quite often. Peter was staying with Jerri and her family at the time and meeting these friends as well! So even without the dating app, the couple would have still met.

Hello everyone! We know it's a bit unusual for the wedding and the reception to be so far apart, but have you met us? We're a bit unusual. Except Peter, he's a beacon of normality. Always. While the wedding ceremony is 8/31/2023, the invitation list is going to be quite small. The Reception list is MUCH bigger and a month later at 9/30/2023. This will be at The Octopus Bar in Seattle, WA. It's one of our favorite places so naturally it's where we want to celebrate with all of you! Note: This IS a bar and because of legalities, no one under 21 can attend.
