Groom
Bride
Best Man
The man, the myth, the best man is none other than the groom’s older brudder. Growing up, Julio was always someone he looked up to — the built-in protector, role model, and the person to call if anyone was giving him a hard time. Julio showed him the value of protecting the people you love and how hard work can create opportunities others might not even see. Needless to say, he has provided countless examples to follow (and maybe one or two to learn from 😉). Julio has been there for every milestone, constantly pushing him to be better and celebrating every success along the way. There was no one more fitting to stand beside him on one of the biggest days of his life.
Matron of Honor
Amber is the bride’s very first best friend — the one who has stayed by her side through every season and version of life. From mapping out Barbie dream houses with tape on the floor to working on scholarships and navigating relationships, they’ve truly done it all together. Shared rooms and secrets created a level of understanding that’s hard to match. They may occasionally butt heads, but they always find their way through it — coming out even closer on the other side. Amber loves her so much she literally moved to Portland to be closer. She has an unmatched ability to meet Bre exactly where she is, stepping into whatever role is needed with love, humor, and unwavering support. Bre is endlessly grateful for her very first (and forever) best friend and couldn’t imagine anyone else standing beside her as Matron of Honor.
Groomsman
Peter met Nick in 7th grade during a morning announcements class, and the two hit it off quickly over shared interests, humor, and (of course) good looks. Their friendship carried through high school, where they played on the same football team and were in the same AP classes. They even attended the same college and both majored in mathematics where again they were in most of the same classes. Nick may be a quiet soul, but he shows up loudly for the people he cares about. When these two get together and start laughing, it’s nearly impossible to stop the train from rolling. Over the years, their circles have grown, but their friendship has remained constant. Much like Nick having the same phone number since childhood (which is still memorized), this is a friendship that’s clearly here to stay.
Bridesmaid
Krystal came into the Bre’s life after a move to Hollister during freshman year of high school, and from day one, she helped her navigate a new school and survive track and field practices. Throughout high school, she expanded her music taste by burning CDs (a true act of friendship), pushed her to be better in sports, and was always ready for a rant session. Krystal has always been someone she can say absolutely anything to and be met with listening ears and zero judgment. Their friendship carried into college, where they became teammates and roommates, sharing late-night conversations, endless laughs, and a few questionable decisions along the way. From high school hallways to college apartments and beyond, Krystal has been a loyal, quick-witted constant — always just a phone call away.
Groomsman
Peter first met Chase in 5th grade — when Chase promptly snitched on him for not being on the crossing guard schedule. Clearly, it was the start of something special. They reconnected in high school on the football team, grew closer through throwing shot put and discus, and eventually attended the same college. Many journeys, long conversations, and plenty of shenanigans followed — often with Chase behind the wheel of the legendary “Nilla-Mobile,” a ’93 Toyota Camry. Their friend group frequently gathered at Chase’s parents’ beach house in Santa Cruz, where a love for the area was born. In fact, Santa Cruz later became the place where Peter proposed to Bre. Through every season, Chase has been a steady presence and a loyal friend — and that’s not changing anytime soon.
Bridesmaid
Jocelyne came into the Bre’s life freshman year of high school through track and field, and their friendship took off quickly. It didn’t take long to see she was the kind of friend who shows up — especially when it matters most. When Bre was stood up at a school dance, Jocelyne saved the day by asking her to go with a handmade Superman comic book (which is still kept to this day). Whenever she’s home, the two make it a priority to catch up — usually during 5 a.m. coffee chats in Jocelyne’s Jeep. They met up so consistently that it gave the perfect window for Peter to ask her parents for their blessing while she was out grabbing coffee. Whether it’s a slightly questionable flight for a girls’ weekend or a quick drive across town, Jocelyne always shows up with snacks, drinks, and a listening ear.
Groomsman
Peter met Gary in college when he joined the track and field team as a walk-on. Gary quickly became a leader among the throwers — helping him push through tough lifts, refine technique, and stay sharp with offseason throwing sessions. Over the years, their bond grew through practicing Highland Games together, and Gary even stepped into the role of coach after graduation when throwing became just for fun. Those sessions weren’t just about training — they were filled with deep conversations, jokes, and a healthy way to blow off steam. Beyond the field, they’ve bonded over Super Smash Bros., Pokémon Go, off-the-cuff humor, and slamming back boots (Gary always tries his best!). There’s no one he’d rather enjoy an ice-cold Crrrrrsssss Light with!
Bridesmaid
Marisa came into the Bre’s life sophomore year of high school during track season. As the youngest of the group, she quickly became like a little sister — someone she could show the ropes to and be completely silly with. During track season, Marisa would leave random notes and drawings in her locker (and a few are still saved to this day). When Krystal and Jocelyne graduated, it was just the two of them left to hold down the fort, and their bond only grew stronger — especially through Rally Club. Marisa served as president, while Bre proudly took on the role of the school mascot, Hank the Haybaler. At rallies and sporting events, Marisa was often the one guiding her around in the mascot suit to make sure she didn’t trip — a true friend. Marisa has always been the perfect balance of playful trash talk and genuinely thoughtful advice. Even now, she brings wisdom, perspective, and the best recommendations from everywhere she’s lived and traveled.
Groomsman
Peter met Raff at a house party in 2014 — where, oddly enough, Raff was very determined to have him feel how soft his sweater was. An unforgettable first impression. Over time, as Raff and Jackie spent more time together, their paths crossed more often. When Raff and Jackie began dating in 2016, he quickly saw just how supportive and steady Raff was — especially in the way he showed up for his sister. Dependable and always willing to help, Raff has stepped in on more than a few occasions. He’s someone whose time is always enjoyed and whose presence is always appreciated. Most of all, he is deeply grateful for the love Raff shows his nephews and niece. Soon he’ll officially be part of the family — though he’s long since been considered a brother.
Bridesmaid
Bre and Bree first bonded over their shared name, but their friendship truly took root while working together as baby behavior technicians. Over the years, they’ve navigated workplace chaos, life transitions, and plenty of “did that really just happen?” moments side by side. Together, they earned their master’s degrees and became BCBAs, cheering each other on through every milestone. Their friendship is built on honest, unfiltered conversations — the kind where nothing is off limits. Whether it’s ranting, crying, or celebrating, Bree always answers the call! What began as a professional connection quickly grew into a deep personal friendship — so much so that Bre even played a meaningful role in Bree and her husband’s love story. Their bond is rooted in shared growth, steady encouragement, and plenty of laughter along the way.
Officiant
Jackie is the groom’s older sister, and being just two years apart made them partners in crime growing up. In fact, when she started kindergarten, he threw such a fit at drop-off that their mom, Nilda, had Jackie walk in alone and give a thumbs-up from the playground to prove she made it safely. Throughout life, Jackie has always been a steady presence — an open ear and a source of wisdom. Being close in age meant overlapping friend groups and the rare gift of truly growing up alongside an older sibling. She is someone he can always confide in, and her words carry tremendous weight. Jackie has been there through every relationship, so when she instantly loved Bre, it meant the world. She even joined Peter and Julio in San Francisco to pick out Bre’s ring — serving as the official hand model to help guide the decision. With how much her voice means to him, she was the first person who came to mind when choosing an officiant for such an important day.
