Red Rocks Amphitheatre
Red Rocks is a geologically formed, open-air amphitheater not duplicated anywhere in the world. With Mother Nature as the architect, the design of the Amphitheatre consists of two 300 foot monoliths (Ship Rock and Creation Rock) that provide a stunning setting for any performance. The dramatic sandstone monoliths serve as a history book of animal and plant life in the area for the past 250 million years. Red Rocks hosts some of the biggest names in music, which is why it’s also one of the most popular music venues in the country. Approximately 10 minutes from the venue.
Garden of the Gods
Garden of the Gods Park is a registered National Natural Landmark featuring dramatic views. Come admire the 300′ sandstone rock formations against the backdrop of snow-capped Pikes Peak and brilliant blue skies. Approximately an hour and a half from the venue.
Denver Union Station
Opened in 1881 as the Denver Union Depot — the tallest building in the West at the time — it was consumed by a fire in 1894 and quickly rebuilt. By the early 20th century, demand for railway travel saw the city quickly outgrow the structure, and it was replaced with the larger carved-granite-and-terracotta structure you see today. Approximately half an hour from the venue.
Rocky Mountain National Park
Rocky Mountain National Park is one of the most visited national parks in the country. With majestic peaks in every direction, wildlife roaming the valleys and some of the most incredible outdoor adventures on the planet, it is no wonder more than four million people flock to the park each year. Approximately an hour and a half from the venue.
Pikes Peak
The safe and scenic Pikes Peak Highway provides you the opportunity to enjoy 19 miles of mountain terrain, with frequent pull-offs for you to get out, stretch your legs, and take photos. You’ll be treated to breathtaking views, four different Colorado life zones and unique animal sightings, like the Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep, yellow-bellied marmots and (rumored) Big Foot. The top of Pikes Peak is approximately 2 and a half hours from the venue.
Georgetown Loop Railroad
The Georgetown Loop Railroad and Mining Park is one of Colorado’s most authentic living museums and historically immersive experiences. Bring your family and friends for a narrow gauge train ride, book a real silver mine tour, or learn how to pan for gold. Discover the rugged romance of the Colorado Rockies in the 1880s. Climb aboard and travel back in time. Approximately 30 minutes from the venue.
