Our story began at Weatherford College, a place where two strangers were brought together by fate and a shared schedule. We were both studying hard, navigating the balance between in-person classes and online work, and it felt like we were always together. Whether we were on campus or at Whataburger, we had the same classes, the same goals, and soon, we realized we had something meaningful — a deep connection. One of our favorite moments came during our public speaking class. I knew that Michael struggled with stage fright and when the day of the final presentation arrived, he hesitated — and ultimately chickened out. Seeing how important this was, I didn’t hesitate. I asked the professor to wait, rushed out to his car, and gently forced him to face his fears. We went back into the classroom together, where he gave his presentation to just me and the professor. If he hadn’t come back, he would have failed, but with a little encouragement, he passed — and I knew in that moment that I would always be there to support him, no matter what. Our love grew stronger over time, and through every challenge, we remained focused on our goals. Both of us were determined to finish school and chase our dreams — we also knew that we wanted to build a future together. We made a promise to each other that, after we graduated, we would make our dreams come true and take the next step in our relationship. Four years later, after I walked across that stage to graduate, he took me to the very spot where we had spent so many hours studying together. As I stood there, surrounded by memories of late nights and shared ambitions, he proposed — and I knew that this was just the beginning of our greatest adventure.
