FAQs

Please refer to the website over time for all updates. Following the updates, you can refer to any questions on this page.
Question

What if I want to race & drink?

Answer

All attendees who plan on racing; please remember you are required to sign a waiver stating you will be sober and professional. This is no different than any other race day, if you choose to race. Please see the schedule where the traditional reception will take place following a few trips down the track. At this time, anyone who will stop racing for the day can partake in drinking alcohol. Please be responsible.

Question

Will I have to pay to race?

Answer

No! The couple is requesting racing as apart of their big day so, payment will not be needed. Please be sure let them know you are there for the wedding at the gate to avoid any track workers requesting payment. Please alert the wedding party if there is any problems or confusion.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

The couple will not be doing a registry. Instead, they will have a card box available during the reception. There will be a space for gifts if they are brought next to the card box.

Question

Is this event public?

Answer

Yes - this day at the track is open to the public & there will be an on track event taking place at the same time.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The couple is requesting "dressy-casual" attire. This does not require suits and ties but come dressed appropriately for an outdoor ceremony. There may be a misconception due to the venue, this is a casual event. However, the couple is requesting to keep this as close to normal wedding attire as possible. Please use your best judgment.

Question

Will I have to pay a spectator fee?

Answer

No - Just like the guests who plan to race, please let them know you are here for the wedding at the gate for entry. Please alert the wedding party if there is any problems or confusion.

Question

What if I cannot eat what is on a traditional race track menu?

Answer

If you are thinking you have any dietary restrictions from this selection, please reach out to the wedding party & note it on the invitation. We will find something appropriate for you.
