A very close 4 star hotel near the wedding venue. You can book directly on their website https://www.hotelhaciendamerida.com/vip/reservaciones/index.php?lang=2, but you may find lower rates on Hotels.com, Booking.com, or Expedia.com.

A middle of the road option. The Hyatt is located downtown near attractions as well as about a 10 minute taxi ride from The Mansion where the wedding will take place.
House Or Rental
There are several affordable options near downtown Merida. Pick a place near El Centro, Historic District, or St. Lucia Park.
Flight
Merida has it's own airport. There are no direct flights to Merida from the US, but several cities like Miami, Mexico City, and Cancun are typical connecting cities. It is an easy taxi ride from the Merida airport to downtown.
Travel Note
From the Cancun Airport Terminal 2, you may take an ADO bus to downtown Merida (centro historico). We recommend buying an ADO ticket at the Cancun Airport when you arrive. You will walk out of baggage claim and walk to the bus stands that say ADO. Tickets are around $20-30 USD. The ride is about 3.5-4 hours. You may also rent a car and drive to Merida from Cancun. Most activities will occur downtown Merida so we do not see a need for a car while you stay in Merida. Public transportation, including Uber is readily available when getting around the city.
