We're Getting Married!

Like most modern couples, we met on a dating website, OKcupid. Emily liked Jose's witty put downs of Trump and Jose liked Emily's photos. A few email exchanges, a phone call, and then on to the in person meeting. First date...well, at least the drinks were good. Second date, awkward first kiss, but we thought the third time is a charm. Date #3 we went bowling. Jose showed up with a hand written card for Emily and she was smitten. Sparks flew from then on.

Jose and Emily went to her dad's where Jose asked her dad for his blessing to get married and for permission to have the engagement ring Emily had always wanted: an antique ring that belonged to her great great aunt. It is a ring her grandmother always wore and Emily has treasured since her grandmother's passing. Emily's dad said yes to the blessing and ring, Jose slipped the ring on Emily's finger, she said yes to forever, and we all hugged and kissed. Toasts were made to our future.
