Question

How can we be safe during Covid?

Answer

Your safety is our utmost concern. Our ceremony is outdoors and the guest list will remain below 30. While the reception is indoors, we plan to implement extra safety precautions. Number of guests per table is reduced to 6. Guests may not gather in a group to dance. Masks are optional for vaccinated guests. We also ask that only guests that have been vaccinated attend the reception. The Mansion Hotel is on the Mexican government's list of Covid safe hotels. Emily and Jose are arranging Covid tests for guests that need one to return to the US.

How and when should I RSVP?

You may RSVP online by clicking the "RSVP" tab on this website. Please RSVP as soon as possible.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! Let us know if you would like to pay for childcare that evening. We will offer a room on site where the sitter can be with the kids and you can peek in if desired.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.

Is the wedding outdoors or indoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held on a patio. We will move inside the hotel restaurant for the reception.

What's the weather?

Answer

HOT. During the day expect 90 degree weather. Mornings and evenings will be pleasant, however.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Our venue, The Mansion has valet parking. However, we recommend you have a taxi or Uber drop you or if you're nearby walk on over.

Can I take pictures and/or post photos of your wedding on social media?

Answer

We ask you do not use your cell phones during the ceremony. However, feel free to take pictures at the reception or any other events/outings shared with us. Please use #TheMirandaUnion

What type of food will be served at the reception?

Answer

Traditional Yucatan food will be served in addition to delicious desserts.

I have a food allergy/dietary restriction, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please let us know when you RSVP or let Emily and Jose know directly. We will try to accommodate your request.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Please see our "Registry" tab on this site if you'd like to give a gift. We are registered through Zola. If you plan to attend the wedding and ceremony, your presence is gift enough.

What time is the reception scheduled to end?

Answer

The reception will end by 11 pm.
