Featured in La La Land, the Griffith Observatory is a great way to get views of the city; and has beautiful architecture to admire (as well as being a home to one of LA's primary histories; astronomy!) You'll find a small science museum inside. After visiting, stop by Katie Pederson's favorite ice cream shop, Jeni's, for a treat!
LA is a great place to see a symphony. Check out the LA Philharmonic Orchestra's iconic building, and listen to their beautiful playing.
Disneyland should be decked out for Halloween - if not, Thanksgiving will be the decorations of the day! Rollercoaster lovers should prioritize Space Mountain and the Matterhorn in Disneyland Park, and the Incredicoaster & Guardians ride in California Adventure (a separate park with separate tickets).
Crystal Cove State Park, Corona Del Mar State Beach Park, R.A.T. (Right After Torrance) Beach, Newport Pier... But there are so many, you really can't go wrong. Going to the beach, you can easily cruise the 1 to explore all that the Southern California coast has to offer.
This is an adorable downtown area right next to our venue. Old Towne Orange contains the largest Nationally Registered Historic District in California. You'll find lots of brunch spots to hit in late morning before the wedding and cute local shops to poke around in!
Balboa Island is a cute little island accessible by car via bridge. Lots of cute shops and restaurants, as well as a pier to walk along and vacation rentals.
