Old Harbor
Only steps away from the ferry dock in Old Harbor is the heart of Block Island’s historic downtown. Most island stores are mom and pop businesses selling everything from homemade honey and candles to cute bathing suits and unique knick knacks. You'll also find delicious restaurants and cozy cafes in Block Island's bustling downtown.
Mansion Beach
This is a Pearl family favorite beach spot. We tend to set up camp here starting at 11 am and leave around 5 pm. Take a beach walk, ride the waves, read your favorite book. It doesn't get better than this! Accessible via car, taxi, or bike!
Mohegan Bluffs
Even if you don't like going up stairs, we promise it's worth the view. A great short hike for all.
1661 Farm and Gardens
If you've watched Alex's instagram story, you know she loves to spend every morning in Block Island amongst her friends at the 1661 farm. They have llamas, sheep, kangaroos, lemurs, and so much more! Enjoy a morning exploring this gem.
Rodman's Hollow
If you’re looking for an easy hike through a variety of natural settings – from wooded to open, from towering bluffs to a pristine beach – Rodman’s Hollow is a can’t miss place. Rodman’s Hollow is a glorious 230-acre glacial outwash plain with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and access to Black Rock Beach, filled with native trees and shrubs lining a path that varies from flat to steep.
Tour Block Island by Bike/Moped
There's no better way to see the sights of Block Island than by biking, curving country lanes pass rugged bluffs and magnificent vistas alongside sweeping pastures and meadows. Rent a bike by the day or the hour at one of the several bike rental businesses located on Weldon's Way in the center of town.
