Travel

We recognize that for some people, traveling to a different country where you don't speak the language can be stressful. We're here to do everything we can to make your trip as stress-free as possible! ***Please note that there is an F1 Race in Mexico City the same weekend as our wedding, so flight and accommodation options may book quickly and be more limited. We highly encourage you to book your travel early if you are able to.***

Flight

Mexico City (MEX)

We recommend flying into Mexico City (MEX) airport. There are nonstop flights from major US airports, and it's relatively easy to access. Last year, Mexico City airport installed automatic kiosk gates to expedite the customs process. See the linked article for more details (your browser should be able to translate to English if you don't speak Spanish). We HIGHLY recommend utilizing these kiosks, we tried them for the first time on our last visit and it was a breeze - in and out in under a minute vs. waiting in a long line.

Hotel

Airbnb

Airbnbs are a great option and there are plenty available in safe areas (Condesa and Roma neighborhoods) in close proximity to our events. We almost always stay in Airbnbs when we visit Mexico City. Generally we have had great experiences staying at Airbnbs. However, remember that Airbnbs are not hotels. You likely will not have a staffed front desk to greet you upon check in. You may have to coordinate with your host or locate keys to the building in a lockbox. Some of the key things we typically search for in reviews are: Wifi (especially if you are working remotely), Noise, Hot Water, Check-In experience. If you'd like us to weigh in on a potential Airbnb you are considering, feel free to text us and we'll happily give our thoughts! As a point of reference, we've created this linked Airbnb list of listings we would pick for ourselves. We haven't stayed at any of these, so we can't personally endorse - but all look like promising options! We have identified listings that are available during our wedding weekend and include a variety of options for parties of different sizes.

Hotel

Hotel

There are a number of hotels in the area. We do not have an official hotel block reserved. If you choose to stay in a hotel, we recommend Roma Norte or Condesa.

Travel Note

Uber

We recommend using Uber to get around the city! It is an affordable and safe option for transportation. Uber picks up and drops off from the MEX airport, and it is easy to request throughout the city as well.
