Question
What should I wear to the wedding?
Answer
Western Cocktail attire! Fellas: suits and ties or bolo ties. Ladies: cocktail dresses with flats, wedges, or boots as we will be on grass for a large part of the evening. Cowboy hats and boots are encouraged! The venue is located just shy of 7500 feet. Colorado nights can vary so think about bringing a shawl or jacket just in case!

When should I RSVP by?

Feel free to RSVP as early as you know you can come! This website is how we will be collecting RSVPs rather than via mail.

Is there transportation to and from the venue?
Answer
Yes! A shuttle will be picking guests up from The Steamboat Grand Hotel at 3:45 sharp. DON'T MISS IT because transportation is required. IF and only if you miss the shuttle, DO NOT USE GPS FOR DIRECTIONS. It will take you to the wrong side of the ranch. There is parking available near The Steamboat Grand at the Gondola Square Parking. There will likely be several transportation companies picking up groups for various weddings so please make sure you look for the "Gegen-Stoddart wedding" signs on the shuttle door. Shuttles will return to the hotel from the ranch at 9:30 or 11:15. If you plan on driving to the venue (highly discouraged) please let Meg or Payne know as there are limited parking spots and very specific directions are needed.

What If I missed the shuttle?
Answer
Take US-40 to CO-131. Head South on CO-131 towards Oak Creek- go for 14.4 miles. Then turn right on county road 179 over the train tracks and proceed to the right. Then drive 1.8 miles and take a left turn. Look for wedding sign. Keep driving. You will pass over 3 cattle guards and see the venue below on the right. Follow the road down to the right to the site. If you go to https://www.lucky8ranchevents.com/contact You can find the google pin for “special events sites”.
