Airport Information

Santa Barbara (SBA) has a great, small airport that is very easy to get in and out of. It is located about a 25 minute drive from Carpinteria, CA, and about a 15 minute drive from downtown Santa Barbara. Flights in and out will be more expensive than Los Angeles (LAX), but we find it totally worth it to pay a little extra to fly into Santa Barbara instead of LAX simply for the convenience! If you fly into Los Angeles, you have the option of LAX or Burbank (BUR) - LAX has very heavy aircraft and vehicle traffic, so plan on an additional hour to get in and out of the airport. There are plenty of rental car agencies if you'd like to book a car to get up to the Carpinteria/Santa Barbara area. If you don't want to go the rental car route, we recommend booking a seat on the Santa Barbara Airbus (https://www.sbairbus.com/). Their LAX shuttle collects riders at every terminal, and can drop you off in Carpinteria, Santa Barbara, or Goleta.

Hotel Information

There are a ton of hotels, AirBnBs, and VRBOs in the area that you can choose from - anything in Goleta, Santa Barbara, Summerland, Carpinteria, and Ventura will put you within a twenty-minute drive from the venue. If you're planning to come in a few days early, and want to be closer to the bride and groom, we recommend staying somewhere in Goleta or Santa Barbara (our stomping grounds). This is not an exhaustive list of all available hotels, so if you don't see anything here to your looking try Expedia, Google, or your preferred search engine.
