KTX

The most convenient and fastest way to get to Gwangju is the 2-hour KTX from Seoul station to Gwangju-Songjeong station. Only a bus can take you to Gwangju directly from Incheon airport.

Apps

Download Naver for local recs and directions, and Kakao Taxi to order rides without needing to hail one down. A Korean phone number (from an eSIM) is likely required for Kakao Taxi. Papago is Korea's preferred translation app, and may have better localized translations between English & Korean than Google.
