where is your wedding?

Answer

We are getting married in Gwangju, South Korea, a city in the province that Nicole's family is from. Gwangju is not near Seoul, and is a 4-hour bus ride or a 2-hour train to get to. Please keep this in mind with your travel times.

How will transportation & lodging work?

Answer

Each guest will be responsible for their own transportation but we are happy to cover the costs of your hotel stay in Gwangju. We want to iterate that the financial and time costs will be high to attend our wedding, so we understand if it's not in the cards at this time.

Can we bring kids/do I have a plus one?

Answer

Yesssssss the more the merrier! Please message us so we are aware of who will be joining us.

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Your presence is more than enough! We have a registry on our website but if you do feel inclined to contribute to our new home, please Venmo Paul @pualchang, or Zelle Nicole 253-391-4651. A box for cards or cash will be available at the wedding mostly for our local guests.

What should we expect for the style of the wedding?

Answer

We'll hold a mostly American-style wedding ceremony, but we will be inviting our Korean family and friends as well. Our local guests may adhere to their culture, which is more casual seen in their behavior and dress. Our reception will be Korean style, which is very short and consists of just the meal. The ceremony and reception will be both in English & Korean.
