The Fruit Loop

Indulge in the Hood River Valley's varied orchards, fruit stands, lavender gardens and bakeries. Drive or bike and explore the beauty of the valley!

Historic Columbia River Highway

Drive or bike along one (or all!) of the the 3 sections of the Historic Columbia River Highway. Head to the Bonneville section to experience several waterfalls right off the highway. No permits needed after Labor Day.

Vista House

Enjoy one of the Columbia River Gorge's most scenic viewpoints and visit the Vista House museum.

Wineries and Breweries

There are more than a dozen wineries near Hood River and several breweries in which to indulge and explore!

Hood River Waterfront

With some of the most predictable winds in the world, the Columbia River Gorge offers several watersport opportunities. Head to waterfront park to watch the wind surfers, SUPers, and kayakers, and maybe even try it out for yourself!

Hood River Railroad

Take a scenic ride through the Hood River Valley on the historic train. If you're feeling extra ambitious you can book a rail bike experience and bike the train route!
