FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 16

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Wear whatever you're comfortable in! There will be a mix of cocktail attire, suits, and long dresses. The venue is a mountain hut, so black tie optional and definitely no need for tuxedos. It will get chilly after the sun goes down, and Hood River is known for its winds, so dress accordingly!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a large gravel lot onsite with a few additional parking spots down the road. Please carpool as you are able to. We are looking into arranging a shuttle from downtown Hood River depending on availability.

Question

What are the Crag Rats?

Answer

The Crag Rats are America’s oldest mountain rescue organization founded in 1926 and, in 1959, were a charter member of the national Mountain Rescue Association, America’s national organization overseeing mountain rescue techniques and certification. The Crag Rats are an all volunteer, non-profit organization based out of Hood River, Oregon with a primary focus of search and rescue on Mt. Hood and in the Columbia Gorge.
