You will fly into Honolulu International Airport. I would recommend taking an Uber or renting a car (in advance if you are planning on doing some adventuring on your own).

Hawaii is strict with Airbnbs, so most of them are all located in Waikiki with all the other main hotels. You can find a range of hotels/Airbnbs here. Definitely book as early as you can as prices tend to increase the closer you get to the date. Traveling with a group and splitting accommodations can significantly cut costs. Special shoutout to White Sands Hotel located in Waikiki. Not luxury, all about atmosphere. It has a courtyard with a swing bar, pool/hot tub, jacuzzi, cafe, and speakeasy. If you do decide to rent a car, please note that parking in Honolulu is very expensive, especially in Waikiki. We only recommend renting a car if you are going to adventure out of the city (which of course we recommend you do!). Parking outside the city is usually free and simple. Sometimes people rent their cars out on Facebook groups.
