Things To Do

You're gonna be in Hawaii, so make the most of it! Oahu is a beautiful island and there is so much to see. We recommend that you bring shoes and clothes to get out into nature.

Waimanalo Beach

41-012 Aloiloi St, Waimanalo, HI

Waimanalo Beach is Paul's most favorite beach. It is earth-shatteringly beautiful. There are several accesses to this beach. The best is at the address in this recommendation. You will turn off Kalanianaole Hwy at the McDonalds. Drive to the end of this short street and find a parking space on the street. The beach is right in front of you. :)

Aki's Beach

84-719 Upena Street, Waianae, HI 96792

Kirsten's favorite beach on the island. It’s very small, but there are almost always sea turtles and some great tide pools to explore. Since it’s more of a locals-only spot, directions are somewhat confusing. If you’d like to visit, let us know and we’ll share how to get there!

Lanikai Beach

Kailua, HI 96734

Regularly sited as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Park on a side street and go through a beach access to this small but unbelievable beach. Great spot for snorkeling as well.

Byodo-In Temple

47-200 Kahekili Highway, Kaneohe, HI 96744

Replica of a famous Buddhist temple in Japan. Stunning and inexpensive to access. Make sure to hit the gong! We went here on our first date. :)

Makapu‘u Point Lighthouse Trail

Makapuʻu Point Lighthouse Trail, Waimanalo, HI 96795

1 hour hike round trip. Paved. Unbelievable view of the windward side of Oahu.

Lulumahu Falls

4459 Hawaii 61, Honolulu, HI 96817

Fun 45 minute hike to the falls. Walk through the stream and old concrete waterways. You cannot swim here because it is too shallow.

Waiahole Poi Factory

48-140 Kamehameha Highway, Kaneohe, HI 96744

Go here for authentic and absolutely delicious Hawaiian food! Try the squid luau!
