FAQs

Question

What time should we arrive to the venue for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:30pm. Please arrive 15–30 minutes early so we can begin on time. The venue does not open until 4pm.

Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Formal. Think suitcoats, ties, dresses, or something you'd wear to a fancy celebration that you're comfortable being photographed in. We're excited to see you looking sharp!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Please refer to your invitation. If a guest was included, you'll see it listed there. We’re keeping things intentionally intimate.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we kindly request an adults-only celebration.

Question

Is transportation provided?

Answer

We won’t be offering guest transportation. We strongly recommend taking an Uber, as parking near the venue will be limited and can be challenging.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We recommend booking accommodations in Waikiki. It’s where most hotels, and many Airbnbs, are located and just 20–30 minutes from the venue by car or rideshare. Special shoutout to White Sands Hotel located in Waikiki. Not luxury, all about atmosphere. It has a courtyard with a swing bar, pool/hot tub, jacuzzi, cafe, and speakeasy. Including fees it is approximately $148 per night. (Check @whitesandshotel on Instagram). Let us know if you plan to book here, we may inquire about group packages.

Question

Is there a registry?

Answer

Yes! You can find all registry details by clicking the Registry tab on this website. We haven't added a lot just yet but will do so closer to the date.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Hawaii weather in August can be hot, but usually with a steady breeze. Our venue is outdoors, but don’t worry there will be shade, and the sun will be behind the buildings by ceremony time. Still, we suggest light, breathable fabrics to stay comfortable.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras tucked away during the ceremony. We’ve got a photographer capturing everything so you can relax and be present.

Question

What should I do if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

Let us know when you RSVP so we can make sure you’re taken care of.
