Paul took Allison here on their second date and she thought he was pretty classy. Now it's where they go when they're missing NYC pizza (and want to get sappy about that second date)!

A childhood favorite of Allison's -- they have recently expanded. Be sure to check out the Butterfly House!
Ponysaurus Brewing Company
Paul likes the beer, Allison likes the $1 scoop snacks (...and the beer). This is a great spot to bring kids and dogs, as there is lots of room to roam!

We are embarrassed to say how frequently we visit the Parlour! Every flavor is legit, but we recommend the Vietnamese Coffee
Durham Farmers' Market
The Durham Farmers' Market is an all local, producer only market. It is held in the pavilion at Durham Central Park (501 Foster Street). Main Season Hours: Saturdays 8 am - Noon *cash only and no dogs allowed A great reason to get up early on a Saturday morning!
21c Museum Hotel + Art Gallery
This hotel has a gorgeous restaurant but our favorite thing about it is the art gallery, open 24/7/365.
Rise Biscuits & Donuts Downtown Durham
Are their biscuits better? Or are their donuts better? We can't decide, but we keep taste testing (for research purposes)
