The ceremony and the reception venue are next to each other, which means you won't need transportation between the two events. Both venues are located at 420 Anderson Street, Durham NC
The Ceremony is at 5:30, so we would suggest arriving by 5pm so you can get seated before we begin.
There is free reserved parking in the upper parking lot to the left as you enter Duke Gardens. There will be a parking attendant to direct you.
We are not offering transportation to the wedding since our guests are scattered at many different hotels. Cabs (we recommend Durham's Best Cab Company), as well as Uber and Lyft are available in Durham so that everyone can be safe on the road.
The dress code is festive cocktail! Men, we suggest you wear suits, please. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside in the grass, so ladies you may want to plan your shoes accordingly. Additionally, fall in North Carolina can be unpredictable. A scarf or wrap might be advisable. Guests will be having dinner outside under a tent!
We love you and we love your children but we respectfully ask that our wedding be an adults only affair, mostly because we want you to be out on that dance floor! If you need help securing a babysitter while you're in Durham, please contact our wedding planner at grace@graceleisureevents.com
Yes
Our wedding coincides with a Duke home football weekend, which means that most hotels were booked in advance, and we were not able to secure a room block. We apologize for the inconvenience! Please look under the Travel section of our website for our recommendations.
Nope, not really. It's a very car-dependent city. However, there are cab companies as well as Lyft and Uber.
Please RSVP by September 20, 2017. Thank you!
