A modern love story: a mutual friend (Lucius Roberts!) and a dating app. Rob spotted Maria Paula on Bumble and saw they had a mutual friend, Rob curiously reached out to Lucius to find out more about her. Lucius then reached out to Maria Paula and mentioned Rob. Long story short, they talked via text one day and the next, they met at Starbucks. Three hours, one tea and a hot cocoa later… (turns out neither are avid coffee drinkers) they went on to bike every corner of Atlanta while falling in love.

One regular Friday afternoon, in the heart of it all, Rob and Maria Paula returned to their old stomping grounds in Midtown, to show Maria Paula's cousin around. While taking a stroll through the active oval at Piedmont Park, the sun began to set behind the Atlanta skyline and Rob asked Federico (Maria Paula's cousin) to take a photo of them. As they posed for a few seconds at the park in the city that watched them fall in love, Rob got down on one knee and proposed.
