For those flying into the area and then renting a car, the closest airports are Newark Airport (1 hour drive) and Philadelphia International Airport (1 hour 30 minute drive). For those flying into the area and traveling on to Asbury Park/Ocean Grove by public transit, Newark Airport or JFK airport are your best options. Please be aware that Newark is currently experiencing a significant air trafficker control crisis. Despite its convenience, the media have been reporting ongoing safety concerns. You may wish to monitor this situation before booking flights. Trains to and from Asbury Park from New York City or Newark Airport do not require advance booking and leave over ten times per day. We will provide an updated train schedule closer to the event.
