Home James Transportation is a shuttle from Denver International Aiport (DIA) to Grand Lake. Shuttles leave DIA at 10 AM, 1 PM & 5 PM during the summer. Our venue is two and a half hours from the airport. We recommend renting a car to go up the mountain and around Grand Lake, Colorado. If you are not comfortable driving up the mountain, we have a shuttle option. When Patrick and Samm travel they use Costco to rent a car. They have the best rates!
Travel Note
Getting Up the Mountain
Labor Day weekend is the last official weekend of summer in Colorado, so a lot of people go to the mountains. We recommend getting on the highway from the airport between 12- 2 PM on Friday, September 4th to avoid ridiculous mountain traffic (it can rival I-90).
