FAQs

The Wedding Website of Patrick Dennis and Samm Mammoser
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

For our wedding, cocktail, please. No jeans. Be thoughtful with your shoe choice, our ceremony is outside and the reception is on stamped concrete.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would like to focus just on you.

Question

We are a No Waste Wedding, so what does that mean?

Answer

The Winding River Ranch is a beautiful venue in the mountains and we want to create as little trash as possible. We are looking to have only garbage of compostable goods and recycled goods used during our weekend. Please be aware of where you are throwing out any used goods.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, please check out the travel page for our recommendations. We HIGHLY recommend booking as soon as you know that you can attend our wedding weekend. Labor day weekend is the last weekend of summer, so it will be very busy in the Grand Lake area.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

YES! Our wedding is a weekend of events starting on Friday with Welcome S'mores and Drinks and ending with a Grill Out on Sunday. All events are at our wedding venue, Winding River Ranch. Please RSVP to each event, so we have enough food and alcohol.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

If your invite says <last name> family or your child's name, yes please bring your child[ren]. Our venue has a playground!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP for all events by Monday, July 15th.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes, you can see on gift registry on Zola. Click the registry page!

Question

Do you have any tips for dealing with altitude?

Answer

Yes, several: - Drink lots of water. More than you think you need. - Our venue is at 8,400 feet, so we recommend water and ibuprofen to deal with altitude sickness. - Pace yourself when it comes to drinking alcohol. If you're not used to the altitude, you will have a monster hangover

Question

What is there to do around the venue?

Answer

Tons! Check out our things to do page.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is parking at the ceremony and reception location.

Question

Is your venue dog friendly?

Answer

Of course! Please feel free to bring your dog to help us celebrate all weekend long!

Question

What is your hashtag?

Answer

Our hashtag is #OhHappyDennis. Please use it so we can look through everyone's pictures, videos, and snaps!

Question

Thank you!

Answer

Thank you to the 12 people who have made it this far on the website and read through everything. I spent way too much time writing bios, stories, and whatnot. I hope you laughed at least once! - Samm
