How We Met
Hawkmates for life
We met in 2018 at St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia during Rachel's sophomore year and Pat's first year after transferring from Penn State. We both happened to join a co-ed business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi, at the beginning of the Fall 2018 semester and quickly became best friends by the end of the semester. Fast forward to the end of the Spring 2019 semester when Pat asked Rachel on their first date after finals. We originally planned to go the Philadelphia Zoo, but it rained so we went to the Franklin Institute instead. Before saying goodbye for the summer, Pat asked Rachel to be his girlfriend on May 9, 2019 and the rest is history! THWND!
