Important Information

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The outer doors will open at 10:15 with seating beginning at 10:30. Seating will end promptly at 10:50 and the ceremony will begin right at 11.

Question

Can I have my phone out or take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Our wedding is a sacred ceremony and we are taking every effort to maintain an atmosphere of dignity and reverence. We ask that there are no phones out or pictures taken within the Sanctuary. At the reception, however, we encourage you to capture the festivities as thoroughly as possible!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask that you dress in formal to semi-formal attire. We also would love for you to dress with our theme of cozy winter/Christmas in mind! Please avoid any bright colors, white or cream.

Question

Family Photos

Answer

Immediately following the ceremony, we will gather in the Commons area within the church for family photos. Non-family members may head directly to the reception.

Question

Parking

Answer

There is plenty of parking both at the Church and Reception venue. At the reception venue, follow the sign for Chestnut Shelter and take the left drive at the Y to park in the large lot. *Additionally, cell/data service cuts out near the reception venue so please plan accordingly.

Question

Restrooms at the Reception

Answer

Please note that the restrooms at the reception are in an outbuilding that is adjacent to the shelter, so we recommend using the restroom before leaving the church to minimize use of the restrooms at the reception.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We're so excited to celebrate this day surrounded by our closest family and friends! Since we are keeping our day intimate, only those formally invited can be accommodated.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We would absolutely love for your children to join us! Just make sure you rsvp for them so they can be accounted for.

Question

Are you registered?

Answer
