For outdoor fun, visit Lady Bird Lake or Lake Travis for boating and beautiful views. About 2.5–3 hours from Houston.

If you’re feeling adventurous, Dallas is a fun overnight escape. A lively city with great shopping, dining, and cultural attractions. Explore Uptown for trendy spots, visit Deep Ellum for live music and murals, and check out the Dallas Arts District for museums and galleries. About 3.5–4 hours from Houston.

Fredericksburg is a special place for us—it’s where we got engaged! If you love wine, this charming Hill Country town is a must-visit for an overnight stay. Known for its beautiful wineries, German heritage, and scenic views. Some of our favorite spots include; Signor Vineyards, Barons Creek, Agusta Vin, Rhinory, Alla Campagna and Hill & Vine. About 4 hours from Houston.
