We met in 2017 while working at an Indian-American fusion restaurant in Tysons Corner Mall in Virginia. Paris was on her summer break from college in the UK and Yug had lived in the area for 4 years after moving to the US from Nepal in 2013. We quickly realized we had a shared passion for life, food, and travel and had a whirlwind romance full of crazy adventures!

We first travelled to the Isle of Skye in Scotland in 2018 and loved it so much that we decided to name our dog Skye. We returned to the magical island in the summer of 2022 as part of our trip to the UK. On our first day of the trip, after trying oysters for the first time (not our favorite food), we decided to take a scenic hike at "Rubha nam Brathairean" ("Brother's Point"). After realizing that we were the only ones in sight in this magical place, Yug knelt down and popped the question. When we got back home and told the story to Skye he was very pleased at Yug's choice of location for the proposal and insisted he be part of the wedding. Of course we said yes and our handsome boy will be a groomsman.

We can't wait to celebrate our international love story with all of our family and friends from around the world with a travel themed wedding. We hope you can attend our event in May!
