Hudson River Park
Need for a run or nice walk? Go ahead and make yourself com-fit-table anywhere by the Hudson River! Paolo loves it, cant you tell by this picture? Running by the water has been a great way for Paolo and Ambar to stay connected to nature while they stay fit together! They ran many miles by the Hudson as they trained for a half marathon. Many people walk their dogs here, come with families or simply hang by the water for a time to relax and enjoy the scenery. They also have ran past their wedding venue many times, not knowing this would be the magical place awaiting their official union.
Broadway Dance Center
One of the reasons Ambar fell in love and admiration of Mr. Slice was because he is a dancer! She would spend hours watching his dance videos and then decided to take a couple of classes from Slice himself. If you want to burn hella calories while having a great time learning some accessible moves and choreo you can keep forever, then take a class at Broadway Dance Center! Options are endless!
The Bronx Brewery & Hudson Yards Kitchen
Paolo and Ambar come here for the best nachos ever! Once Bronx Brewery opened up they were both in love and have frequented the delicious variety of nachos that BB has to offer. They also have a nice variety of beers. Nonetheless, Paolo and Ambar always worry about finishing the last nacho, so this makes their time at Bronx Brewery last just a little longer. The music IS good so it's worth the time.
Zoralie
This is a hole in the wall Dominican restaurant that has been such a life saver whenever Ambar has that nostalgic real Dominican food craving and what a joy it has been to have Paolo join in on these random cravings. Tres golpes ("Three hits" salami, egg, fried cheese) with the mangu is the way to go! Ambar and Paolo love going here and the best part about it is feeling like they are uptown even though they are close to home in midtown. Check out the way that Paolo's got his hand up, praising the food. Amen.
Monkey Thief
Paolo and Ambar came here for her last birthday and what a cool vibe! This place is chilled during the early evening and poppin during the night time without losing its chilled kind of vibe. Come here for some of their artistic cocktails. Their food is to share so feel free to try alll of it! Their uniquely thin and crispy seasoned french fries, calamari, crispy rice with that runny egg on top-its so good! Just try it all!
Minskoff Theatre
Ambar and Paolo have not watched enough Broadway shows together but Micheal Jackson and The Lion King were just-epic! Both Valentines Day and Ambar's birthday this year were filled with food and theatrics as Paolo organized an evening filled stories they know well and what a treat it was to watch those come alive. Book a show! Its worth it!
Ovest Pizzoteca
Get some real delicious pizza here! We have just a couple times. You could probably do a whole pie…alone! Don’t worry we walk there and back so it balances out. Add some of their delicious spicy olive oil to elevate your experience!
Romeo and Juliet Colombian Coffee
Breakfast, brunch, chill vibes, oh and they just love dogs here, everyone has a dog here it seems…I mean, yeah. Empanadas and other Colombian snacks, pastries, nice coffee and matcha- that’s what Ambar’s drinking. Açaí bowls, smoothies, you get the vibe.
Sullivan Street Bakery
We came here and got a snack but they have a wide variety of pastries, sandwiches and more! Super nice and welcoming vibe where you may find people working on their laptops during the day. This is super close to our hotel: Ink48!

Super close to the hotel (Ink48) the wedding party is staying at!
Stretch Pizza
So, we didn't get footage of the pizza, but this pizza is bomb! Go there, have a salad too, it has chips in it! Wylie Dufresne, one of our favorite chefs, came up with this. It's good, it's good, it's good!
