Downtown Reno
The Riverwalk District in Reno’s downtown features the Reno arch, shops, cafés, lodging, bars, entertainment venues and even a whitewater park.
North Lake Tahoe
Lake Tahoe is a large lake famous for its blue water. The closest beaches to Montreux/Reno are Kings Beach State Recreation Area and Sand Harbor Beach. Other summer activities in and out of the water include hiking, driving around the lake, renting a boat or taking a cruise, stand up paddling, kayaking, biking, and more!
River Rafting
Pack a small cooler with snacks and drinks and float down the Truckee river! There are a few other companies who do this as well.
Casinos
Reno has tons of casinos - the “Row” in downtown Reno is three casino resorts connected underground; other casinos include the Grand Sierra Resort, Atlantis, and Peppermill.
Virginia City, Nevada
