Soda Springs Trailhead
A relatively easy hike in and out, and about a mile from the venue.
Salida
Plenty of cute boutiques and shops down historic main street. Great restaurants to choose from as well! We recommend the Boathouse Catina or Tony's Waffles & Coffee. The Arkansas River runs through Salida, with plenty of great spots for fishing and plenty of walking paths and trails.
Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve
The Great Sand Dunes are a little over an hour drive from the venue, and if you've never been, it's worth the drive to see them. A pass must be purchased if you do not have a national parks pass. The fee is $25.00 per vehicle and can be purchased on the National Parks Website.
Captain Zipline
We've never been here before, but we have gone zip lining in Bailey. It's a fun ride, and this place seems to have a few options including ATVS and a challenge course. If you feel like an adrenaline rush, this may be right up your alley!
