Any special considerations?
Answer
Yes - Western North Carolina is a major tourist destination during the fall due to the stunning views of yellow, orange, and red leaves across the Blue Ridge Mountains. The celebration is taking place during one of the peak leaf weekends. We recommend booking your lodging ASAP upon receiving the invitation. Getting reservations for dining out is a good call too. Anticipate heavy traffic along the Blue Ridge Parkway, and plan to get an early start if you want to enjoy the outdoors while you're here! We highly recommend enjoying the scenery once you've come all this way!

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Yes and No - This is a tough call to make, so we are leaving it up to you as a parent. Our preference, although we realize it is a selfish one, is that our friends/family with children have a night off to just focus on celebrating with us. We do realize that there may not be babysitter options if you're traveling, or perhaps your child is at an age that you do not want to leave them. We are happy to have your child/children attend, please just let us know what you decide. With love and respect - Brandon and Jess.

Is there camping?
Answer
Yes! White Fence Farms is 100 acres and we get access to every inch of it for the entire weekend. There are some flat areas that will be designated for camping. There are bathrooms with a shower on site, and an open air kitchen. Between all the Boonies, we have plenty of camping equipment to share if you are wanting to camp but not wanting to haul gear through the airport. We ask that you let us know if you're planning on camping!

Is there parking at the venue?
Answer
Yes, the venue can accommodate around 100 cars if parked properly. We don't foresee parking being an issue, but encourage carpooling or taking the hotel shuttle! Absolutely no problem leaving vehicles overnight! Make smart choices!!

What's the deal with transportation?
Answer
There will be a shuttle between the wedding venue and hotel on Saturday October 10th. Boone does not have reliable Uber or Lyft options if any. There are local taxis but very few. We encourage folks to carpool or arrange private transportation well in advance. Please reach out to us if you have any transportation concerns!

What's the food menu looking like?
Answer
The food will be buffet style. We promise to include a strong vegetarian main dish and plenty of gluten free options. There will be no shellfish to worry about. If you have any concerns please reach out to us when you RSVP.
