Pellston Regional Airport is the closest airport just 12 miles from the ferry docks. Chippewa County International Airport is located in St. Ignace and is a short 5 mile drive to the ferry docks. Cherry Capital Airport in Traverse City is 2 hours from the ferry docks in Mackinaw City. This location would require a car rental.

Please note, there are no Ubers or taxis in the Northern Michigan area. Our suggestion is to take the Mackinaw shuttle to get to and from the ferry docks! Please call ahead to reserve seats. Shepler's Ferry

Taking a ferry is your ticket to the island. Just a 16 minute ride from either Mackinaw City or St. Ignace. You can book your ticket in advance online or in person at the docks. Palazzo/D'Amore wedding code: 08wedding26 Overnight parking is available, please visit the listed website for prices. There is a continuous shuttle service to and from off-site lots . Be sure to check the ferry schedule when you are planning your travel. They typically depart every 30 minutes.
