Bike Rentals
Another great way to see the island! Rent a bike from one of the many bike rental locations in downtown - Mackinac Wheels and Bike Barn just to name a few. Many of the hotels on Mackinac have bikes for guest use! Grab a map and hit the trails or take the shore road all the way around the island. Some of our favorite places to bike to on the island are Sunset Rock, British Landing, and Arch Rock.
Must See Sites
British Landing is a spot exactly half way around the island. The perfect place to stop for a dip in the lake or one of the Cannonball's famous fried pickles. Sunset Rock is located on the west side of the island near the Inn at Stonecliffe. It is a spectacular spot to see a gleaming Mackinac Island sunset! Arch Rock is the most popular rock formation on the island. It is a natural limestone arch that towers above the lake.
Pink Pony
One of our favorite spots! Enjoy the famous Island Rum Runner on Pink Pony patio with live music and amazing views of the harbor. We also highly recommend going to the Mustang Lounge and Horn's Gaslight Bar.
Wawashkamo Golf Club
The Wawashkamo Golf Club is a nine-hole links golf course laid out in 1898. Rent some hickory sticks if you want the full experience!
Grand Hotel
Visit the Grand Hotel for a spectacular view on the world's longest porch, overlooking the Straits of Mackinac! Enjoy a drink at the Cupola Bar, grab a bite at the Jockey Club, take a stroll through the historic hotel, or late night dancing at the Gate House.
Bobby's Bar at The Woods
A bar and restaurant steps from the Inn at Stonecliffe. Sip on a Bobby's bloody, bowl a strike at the oldest duck-pin bowling alley in the United States, and enjoy the cabin feel!

Take a walk through the garden to experience butterflies from all over the world. The Butterfly House is the 3rd oldest in the US and first of it's kind in MI!
