FAQs

We are so very excited for our upcoming Wedding Celebration and Truly Care About Everyone Staying Healthy, Happy and Safe. In the interest of doing this, we are respectfully asking all of our family, friends, guests and vendors to kindly be tested prior to attending our weekend of joy and festivities. You can make an appointment with your doctor or purchase a home kit. What ever is the most convenient for you. It is with a kind and caring heart that we are asking this of everyone. Warmest Regards, Michelle and Ryan
Question

Are there any COVID restrictions for attending your wedding?

Answer

MASKS-Our venue and the State of Illinois also requires masks, unless you are eating or drinking. We ask you follow the restrictions, whenever possible, in order to avoid any issues. COVID TESTING-We are respectfully asking all of our family, friends, guests and vendors to be tested within two days prior to attending our weekend of joy and festivities. Under the travel section, we've provided facilities around Chicago that offer Covid Testing. Type in your zip code to find the nearest facility and to book an appointment. For those staying at the hotel, the zip code is 60611. At home kits are also available at many pharmacies. We understand this is a huge ask, but we are kindly asking you to do this to allow everyone to feel safe and we cannot thank you enough.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Although we are not having a ceremony, we are asking everyone to arrive by 5:30 p.m. for a special surprise entrance and toast!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered at Bloomingdales, Bed Bath and Beyond, and the Zola website. All items from Bloomingdales and Bed Bath and Beyond, however, can be found on our website under the registry tab and just use the link to click on the item you selected. Any gifts are greatly appreciated.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes. Please provide any and all food allergies, so we can make sure your dinner is safe.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There will be complementary valet parking at Theater on the Lake.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There is transportation to and from The Intercontinental. Two buses will be located on the side of the hotel on E. Illinois. Transportation begins at 4:45 for a prompt arrival at Theater on the Lake. One of the buses will return, however you most likely miss Ryan and Michelle's entrance and toast! Return Transportation begins at 10:30pm and will be continuous until the reception ends (leaving around every half hour). Final bus will leave between 12 and 12:30 p.m.

For all the days along the way
